The GOICHOT family also owns vineyards : the Burgundy white ‘Les Dressolles’ produced with grapes from Meursault, and the Montagny “Chateau de la Guiche”from the Côte Chalonnaise.
A careful tasting and selection of each wine has been carried out by André Goichot himself. The whole harvest is vinified, matured, bottled and marketed at André Goichot winehouse. This success story bears witness to André Goichot’s commitment to creating a future for the company.
Jully les Buxy’s vineyards are located in the Côte Chalonnaise region; it is one of the 4 appellation communes of Montagny. This domain has an area of around 1 ha. During the harvest, the carefully selected hand-picked grapes are put into a vat for slow fermentation. Half of the maturation occurs in oak barrels over a period of between 6 and 9 months.
- This wonderful wine, which is much appreciated by connoisseurs, has received many awards including awards from the Wine International Challenge or the Guide Hachette.
”It is often praised for its limpidity and the intensity of its colour. An array of elegant aromas delights your nose with hazelnut and exotic notes. For those of you who like a fruity vivacity, it is ready to drink now; otherwise you could wait until the wine becomes harmonic and rich with time. It’s a great wine on the fruity side of this appellation.”
